Cleanse
The Targeted Wash: The foundation of the ritual. Cleanse gently while maintaining optimal hydration levels.
Salon Secret:
Choose Deep Moist (Yellow) for intense hydration, or Melty (Pink) to control frizz. Always emulsify with water and massage only the scalp, letting the foam glide down the lengths.
Step 1.5
The Treatment
The deep reconstruction phase. A rich treatment to apply 1 to 2 times a week instead of your conditioner.
Salon Secret:
Use Fino (Red) to molecularly repair damaged hair, or Tsubaki (Gold) for instant shine and softness.
Work and gently massage the treatment into your strands using the twisting technique and leave on for 5-10 minutes. DO NOT RINSE. Move directly to Step 2.0
Step 2.0
Conditioner
Cuticle Sealing: The mandatory step for daily care. It closes the hair scales to trap hydration and active ingredients.
Salon Secret: The layering
This is the professional Layering method. Apply this conditioner directly ON TOP of your unrinsed mask. Leave them layer together for 8 minutes, then rinse everything out with cold water to lock in the nutrients and maximize shine.

The final touch to block humidity, add a glassy salon shine, and protect from heat.
Salon Secret
Warm 1-2 drops between your hands. Apply to damp hair before blow-drying to protect from heat, or on dry hair daily to seal split ends.

What is the difference between the Deep Moist and Melty ranges?
It depends on your hair needs! The Deep Moist range focuses on intense hydration and deep water retention for dry, thick, or damaged hair. The Melty range is specially formulated to control frizz, smooth the hair cuticle, and add fluid flexibility to wavy or unruly hair.
Are the Fino and Tsubaki masks suitable for all hair types?
Yes, they work on all hair textures! However, they target different concerns: Shiseido Fino (Red) is a molecular heavy-repair treatment ideal for damaged, bleached, or chemically treated hair. Shiseido Tsubaki (Gold) is an instant-shine, zero-wait mask perfect for dry, dull, or normal hair looking for an immediate silky glass-hair finish.
Should I use the conditioner after applying the mask?
Yes, absolutely! This is the core secret of Japanese hair layering. While the mask (Step 1.5) penetrates deeply to repair the hair from the inside, the conditioner (Step 2.0) acts as a protective shield. Applying it directly over your unrinsed mask creates a salon emulsion that perfectly seals the cuticles to lock in all nutrients.
